MBA Business Project
Otago MBA Students provide in-company consultancy services to businesses and companies at no or little cost as part of their MBA course.
The
BMBA 540 MBA Business Project is the cornerstone of the Otago MBA. It
involves students examining a real organisational challenge or problem
presented by a client company.
The project is positioned in the final phase
of study after students have completed the core MBA curriculum of 13 post-graduate level courses in all covering all areas of business administration.

Purpose
The MBA Business Project demonstrates a student’s ability to work within a real businessenvironment. The purpose is for students to
- add value to a business by identifying and resolving a real business issue facing the client
- apply the knowledge gained over the core taught programme in a real business environment.
