The School of Business at Otago Uni also offers Executive Education short courses that enable executive participants to select study areas relevant to their own personal development in a format suitable for full-time professionals.
The Otago MBA and Executive Education teams combine to form one department called Executive Programmes.

Otago’s School of Business is one of only a handful of business schools worldwide to hold dual EQUIS and AACSB accreditation status, ensuring its MBA courses are globally portable and internationally recognised.
The School's business programmes and research cover a range of subject areas, including accountancy, business administration, economics, entrepreneurship, finance and accounting, hospitality, information science, international business, management, marketing and tourism, which all contribute to the school’s outstanding reputation. In the latest quality assessment, the Departments of Economics and Tourism are ranked in the Top-10 of business departments in NZ.
