Executive Speaker Programme

Business executives are regularly scheduled each Term to present to the Otago MBA class. Speakers are chosen because they have been successful in their field or industry. Often, speakers are sourced from our own network of Otago MBA alumni.

Successful business people are able to share details about the challenges and barriers they encountered in doing business and how they overcame difficulties to help them succeed.

The Otago MBA curriculum is structured to first build a foundation in the theories and concepts of doing business before progressively shifting the focus to practical application. Business speakers help students make connections between the theory and practices of general management and applying these in the real world.
