Getting a Visa

Prospective students who are not a New Zealand or Australian citizen or permanent resident, are required to obtain a visa or permit to study in New Zealand.

In order to apply for a student visa, you must first hold an unconditional offer of a place on the programme. Some countries including many on the Indian or West Asian subcontinent take two to three months or longer to process visa applications. This is a good reason to apply for a place on the programme as soon as possible.
