Exec. Ed. Women and Leadership Course

Every full-time women on the Otago MBA is invited to attend our Executive Education Woman and Leadership course free of charge. This course will inspire and inform MBA women looking for insights, and tools to develop their own leadership skills. Experienced presenters will draw on research, and many years of working with leaders, to engage participants in a course that treats Women’s leadership as part science and part artful endeavour.   

• Explore leadership style through the FIRO Business® Leadership Report 
• Challenge participants concept of leadership and how they lead as Women 
• Measure interpersonal needs in three areas – involvement, influence, and connection 

The HER Business Network is the leading business network for women in New Zealand.

Her Business Networks operate throughout New Zealand for women employed in professional roles or who are self-employed as business owners. Her Business Networks provide opportunities for like-minded women to get together, to encourage and learn from one another through regular meetings.

Women on the Otago MBA recieve a 12-month membership to the Her Business Network at no additional cost.

Traditionally, MBA classrooms were filled with men. However, times are changing. Our aim is to have diverse classes on the Otago MBA and that includes all genders.
